Yes, you must contact law enforcement immediately if the accident results in injury, death, or total apparent property damage of $1,000 or more under Ark. Code Ann. § 27-53-202. If police do not investigate at the scene, drivers must file an official SR-1 accident report with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) within 30 days.
