In the latest edition of Little Rock Soirée Magazine, which hit stands on December 1, 2011, Lyndsey Dilks and Tré Kitchens of the Brad Hendricks Law Firm were named two of the Best Lawyers in Little Rock, as voted on by other attorneys and the readers of Soirée.
Ms. Dilks was named as one of the best bankruptcy attorneys in Little Rock, while Mr. Kitchens was voted on of the best business litigators in the city.
Lyndsey D. Dilks grew up in Gillett, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 2006. While in law school, Ms. Dilks enrolled in a Bankruptcy course. Her instructor, Phyllis McKenzie Jones, nominated Ms. Dilks to represent the 8th Circuit for the American College of Bankruptcy Distinguished Student Award. After graduation, Ms. Dilks served as a professional law clerk to Chief Bankruptcy Judge Audrey R. Evans. Following a brief stint with another Arkansas law firm, Ms. Dilks joined The Brad Hendricks Law Firm to start its consumer bankruptcy department. Ms. Dilks was also a founding member of ATLA's Bankruptcy Division, which is Arkansas' first Debtors' Attorneys only bar organization. More information about Ms. Dilks is available online.
Lloyd W. "Tre" Kitchens joined the Brad Hendricks Law Firm in 2010. Although Mr. Kitchens is a native Arkansas, he graduated from Texas Christian University before returning for law school. Following his graduation from the University of Akransas at Little Rock School of Law in 1999, Mr. Kitchens entered the private practice of law, where the majority of his practice has been dedicated to commercial litigation, medical malpractice, wrongful death and personal injury law, and civil rights litigation. More than 90% of Mr. Kitchens' practice is devoted to litigation. Mr. Kitchens has also been an active member of the legal community; in fact, Mr. Kitchens served as the 2010-2011 President of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. According to Soirée, a two-part process was employed. At the initial level, attorneys were identified by their peers as being worth of being on the list. Then, the readers of Soirée were asked to vote using their own experience with the legal profession. Attorneys did not pay for the privilege of appearing on the list, and the accuracy and legitimacy of the voting process was preserved by tracking each person's IP address during the voting process.
