Details:Â On January 3rd., 2019, a state trooper sustained injuries as a result of striking a tree while driving to another accident, according to police reports. Corporal Clayton McWilliams, 32, of Little River County, responded to a crash involving an overturned logging truck when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
Road conditions were not ideal, as heavy rainfall had recently occurred in the area and likely contributed to the crash. McWilliams first received treatment at a hospital in Texarkana and later was moved to a hospital in the Little Rock area.
