Sheldon Smith - Arkansas
Personal Injury & Business Attorney
Sheldon Smith lives in Little Rock with his wife and three children and graduated from Covenant College in 1995 and The University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 2002. Mr. Smith is a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Arkansas. His areas of practice include commercial litigation, personal injury, civil rights, wrongful death, and products liability.

Sheldon didn’t start off on the path to becoming a lawyer early. He has many varied and fascinating paths that he explored first before attending law school, and some paths he made for himself afterwards.

In 1987, Sheldon founded the Jensen-Smith clothing company while still in college. He designed and manufactured jeans and denim apparel, and sold to 1500 retailers internationally. He won the 1991 Sportswear International Top Innovator Award and was featured on CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, Good Morning America, and many others. In 1992, he was hired by Big Yank, a clothing manufacturer, to design and develop a private label jeanswear line. The following year, Sheldon co-founded an international mail order clothing company called Purple Mountain Dry Goods in Little Rock. He was also honored to be the Designer for 1992 Joe Gibbs Nascar Racing Team and the 1993 ATP and the United States Davis Cup Team.
Sheldon switched gears in 1994 when he founded Rollersports, which consisted of two indoor skate parks and three retail shops. He later specialized in design and construction of skate ramps and skate parks. He designed and built fourteen skate parks in cities all over the United States including large indoor parks in Detroit, Dallas, Miami, and New Orleans. In 1996, he became a personal trainer and strength coach. He specialized in the sport specific training of athletes in preparation for high school, college and professional sports. In 1999, Sheldon was named the Arkansas State Powerlifting Champion.

In 2007, Sheldon founded Skinstar Laser MedSpa in Little Rock; one of the first medspas of its’ kind in the area. Currently, the entire Smith family, which includes his wife Sabrina, and kids, Madison, Cannon, and Maxx, are accomplished pro-photographers. Sheldon’s photos are used nationwide. Sheldon’s pictures have been featured by Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and USAToday. He is now gaining a reputation for pageants, as he was previously a sports photographer. “The law and my clients come first but I’ve loved taking pictures since I was a teenager. It’s a fun diversion. The national pageant is great because I get to work with my family!”

During some of these fascinating careers, Sheldon attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law, where he was the Associate Editor of External Affairs and the Assistant Editor in Chief of the UALR Law Review. He started his career at Turner and Associates doing product liability cases and joined our firm in 2013. Sheldon has a unique background for an attorney and brings a wide range of experience to his practice.
