I became a lawyer because… my grandmother always told me that fighting for what is right is the most important thing we can do. As a lawyer I get to take cases that I believe in, and therefore can put my whole heart into.
What I like most about the law is… our system evens the playing field between the haves and the have-nots better than any system in the world. Everyone can be held accountable for their actions.
When you need an attorney… Find someone who you believe in and trust. People need lawyers when things have gone wrong in their lives. Your lawyer needs to stand beside you through the hard times.
My most rewarding case was… I have been lucky enough to be part of a commercial litigation case where a very wealthy man decided to not pay his obligation to a business associate simply because he thought he was above the law. When the verdict came back that very wealthy man discovered he was wrong.
My most disappointing case was… I represented a woman who was hurt in a car accident that wouldn’t have hurt anyone who didn’t have a serious pre existing back problem. The jury found for the Defendant. My client hurts to this day because the jury did not believe her story.
